Personal Mission
As a physical education teacher, my "classroom" is a unique atmosphere when compared to a stereotypical education setting. In physical education, students have the most freedom to move, interact, and form relationships with other students than any other time in the course of the day. I believe in physical education it is crucial for students to form positive and healthy relationships with other students. Physical education instructors must teach by example, social skills that they can exhibit and utilize for the rest of their life. These social schools will enhance their personal character, which in return; will them contribute to a team effort and larger picture.

This is really important. In gym especially, so many students' individualism comes out and the idea of working together is far removed from their minds. I mean, lets face it, how many students want to play a game for fun and not to win. I give you a lot of credit because this is one of the venues that you can really show the importance of working together. do you also coach any sports as well?
I enjoyed reading your mission statement. You mentioned that in physical education, students have the most freedom to move and interact, however do you feel that students really utilize this freedom to the best of their abilities? If not, what do you do to motivate those students?
